In 2022-23 Charlton Kings Parish Council had no employees whose full remuneration in the year was over £50,000. All members of staff are on part-time contracts.

The pay multiple for 2023-23, as at 31^st March 2023, was 1.58:1. This is defined as the ratio between the highest paid taxable earnings for the given year including base salary, variable pay, bonuses, allowances and the cash value of any benefits-in-kind) and the mean earnings figure of the whole council's workforce.
