Local Council Award Scheme Quality Gold

I love the environment and over the years I have realised how important it is and how we need to keep it that way for the next generations. I felt horrified when I heard all the things us humans were doing to it to destroy it. So, I thought that I would try and help by sharing some information with the other pupils at my school. I researched an and shared an earth hour power point with my friend and we managed to get the school to turn off all the lights for a day. I have shown power points to my class or whole school about palm oil, greenhouse gasses, water pollution, deforestation, littering and soon I will show one about us having a meat free Monday.

We have also implemented lots of things at home; we have no products with palm oil in, have bird feeders, bug hotels, bee friendly plants, products from sustainable and animal cruelty free sources, we do meat free Mondays, have planted 12 oak trees, we reuse containers and bags, use bamboo toothbrushes, recycle, walk to school and other places. When we can't we have electric hybrid cars. We constantly try and learn new things we can do.
