About me

I trained as a teacher in Canterbury Kent, and after working for one year I moved to Gloucestershire. I subsequently taught Business Studies at GLOSCAT for several years. I then became a fully qualified counsellor (BACP) and worked for 15 years in my own practice.

Latterly my husband and I bought a small holding near Ledbury, and grew fruit and vegetables for the local market. After 13 years we downsized to Charlton Kings to be near family.

Why I became a Councillor

I wanted to become a Councillor because I have lived in Charlton Kings for 5 years and, as a retired person, I have time to give to the Parish Council. I feel my skills match with some of the issues relating to the Council and hope I can be of some use.
